BIIT
| Bosco Institute of Information Technology (BIIT) is the Professional Education College of BICS InfoTech. It was established in 1998 for Education, Training and Placement for Rural Youth in Information Technology. The Professional Practice is imparted to our students to enable them to master the choice of their profession by directly working with IT practitioners in various divisions of BOSCO ITS. Selection of students to its diploma programme (blended with a formal education degree in Computer Applications) is a unique process. Each student is identified carefully by a thorough scrutiny of applications, short listing with an aptitude test, interview and team visit to the student’s family confirming one’s economic status and intensive training to acquire typewriting skills before admission into BIIT. A special attention is given throughout the programme to improve communication and language skills. No student who is affordable, whose parents are educated and employed well, who has financial assets can find an entry into the Institute. This is to adhere to the mission of empowering the underprivileged rural youth who have rich potentials. | |||||||||
