BIIT conducts a diploma programme known as Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT), adhering to rigorous academic discipline with a special curriculum designed according to the growing need of software industry. Intensive training on latest information technologies is given to the students to equip them with technical and soft skills. This programme prepares the students essentially to appear for BCA examinations IGNOU and impart them relevant technical and soft skills.
PGDCA (3 Years)
BIIT offers a diploma programme similar to PGDIT for non-mathematics students who were admitted in the year 2008-2009 as Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA). This programme is designed in concurrence with BCA Programme of Madras University in Distant Education mode. The students are prepared for BCA examinations and given adequate training in technology and IT-enabled services.
DCA (1 Year)
Diploma in Computer Applications is conducted to provide exposure to basic computing skills and to prepare the students for a computer-related job in office management, desktop publishing, teaching computer science at primary level, hardware servicing and related careers. This programme is offered in partnering institutes of BIIT.
DHN/DMA (6 months)
Diploma in Hardware & Networking and Diploma in Multimedia & Applications are conducted through the respective divisions of BOSCO ITS.
