Evaluation at BIIT is done in two parts: A. Continuous Assessment and B. Comprehensive Examinations
A. Continuous Assessment Continuous assessment carries 60% of total weightage. It has different components such as Continuous Assessment Test, Assignments, Paper Presentation, Quiz and Tutorial.
B. Comprehensive Examinations Comprehensive Examinations is conducted at the end of every semester, during the fourth week of May/November. This examination carries 40% of the total weightage.
Certification
At the end of every semester, every student is issued the Statement of Marks. At the end of the programme, each student is awarded a cumulative Grade Sheet along with the Professional Diploma during the convocation ceremony. Grading is given for each course based on the table below.
